About Radiesse in Aventura, FL
Radiesse is an injectable biostimulator made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel carrier — a different category of treatment than hyaluronic-acid fillers. Once placed, it provides structural support in areas that have lost volume while encouraging your body to produce its own collagen and elastin over time, so improvement continues to develop after your visit. Radiesse is FDA-approved for correcting moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles such as nasolabial folds, restoring volume loss in the back of the hands, contouring the jawline as Radiesse (+), and smoothing décolleté wrinkles using a specific saline-dilution protocol. Because it works differently than HA-based fillers, Radiesse is not dissolved with hyaluronidase and is not used to treat the lips or the area around the eyes. Whether it's the right choice for your goals is something we determine together during an individual consultation. We welcome clients from Aventura and nearby communities, including Sunny Isles Beach, Hallandale Beach, Golden Beach, North Miami, and the greater Miami area.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is an injectable biostimulator containing calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. It provides structural support where volume has been lost while stimulating your body's own collagen and elastin production over time.
How is Radiesse different from hyaluronic-acid filler?
Hyaluronic-acid fillers are made from a substance naturally found in skin and primarily add volume. Radiesse is made from calcium hydroxylapatite, a different material that provides structural support and actively stimulates collagen production. The two are selected for different goals, and your injector will help determine which is appropriate for you.
Can Radiesse be dissolved?
No. Unlike hyaluronic-acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This is an important consideration when choosing between filler types, and your provider will discuss it with you during your consultation.
When will I see results?
Some structural correction may be visible immediately after treatment, while the collagen- and elastin-related improvement from biostimulation develops gradually over the following weeks and months.
How long can Radiesse results last?
Radiesse results have been reported to last up to two years in some patients, though individual results vary based on the treatment area, technique, amount used, and your own metabolism. Your provider can discuss realistic expectations for your specific treatment plan.
Is there downtime after Radiesse?
Downtime is usually minimal. You may experience temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or small bumps at the injection sites, which typically resolve on their own. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions.
Can Radiesse be used in the lips or under the eyes?
No. The safety and effectiveness of Radiesse has not been established for use in the lips or around the eyes, so we do not use it in these areas.
Is Radiesse suitable for jawline contouring?
Yes. Radiesse (+) is FDA-approved for subdermal and/or supraperiosteal injection to improve moderate-to-severe loss of jawline contour, and it's one of our most requested uses of the product.
How many treatments will I need?
This depends on your anatomy, goals, and the areas being treated. Your provider will recommend a treatment plan after evaluating you in person — we don't promise a specific number of sessions before that assessment.
How much does Radiesse cost in Aventura?
Cost depends on the treatment area, your anatomy, your goals, and the amount of product recommended for your plan. We don't publish a flat rate because every treatment plan is individualized — book a consultation and we'll provide a personalized quote.

Is Radiesse Right for You?
Candidacy for Radiesse is determined during an individual consultation, where your provider reviews your health history and goals. A few important safety considerations:
- Radiesse and Radiesse (+) should not be used in patients with a relevant product allergy, a history of severe allergies, or bleeding disorders.
- Radiesse (+) should not be used in patients allergic to lidocaine or similar anesthetics.
- Treatment should be postponed in the presence of an active skin infection.
- The safety and effectiveness of Radiesse has not been established for use in the lips or around the eyes, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Rare but serious complications can occur if filler unintentionally enters a blood vessel, including skin injury, visual impairment or blindness, and stroke. If you experience unusual pain, blanching or whitening of the skin, vision changes, or signs of stroke, seek immediate medical attention.
